John Pihach, a Canadian of Ukrainian descent, is the author of the well-known Ukrainian genealogy classic, "Ukrainian Genealogy: a Beginner's Guide" (CIUS, 2007). John has done research in the archives in Ukraine, Poland and Vienna and published twelve articles on Galician genealogy.
